On Dec. 28. 2024 more than 20 confirmed tornados touched down in Mississippi, including an F2 tornado that ripped through the Berrytown community located in Franklin County, Mississippi. The storm completely destroyed O’Zion Baptist Church, flipped a mobile home and inflicted major damage to an 80-year-old farmhouse.
